This project is both a compilation of and commentary on the work of IcyBrian's member Lina Darkstar. (Some additional translation work of my own is included.) Updated as I continue learning from my other projects.

Final Fantasy VI - The Full Script Retranslation

This has me really excited. One of the issues with Lina's work is that she did it in a format that doesn't allow for compilation into a ROM. The purpose of this project is to provide a full, properly characterized script to allow for as much understanding of the game as possible without note clutter and to enable insertion into a ROM. I have been very disappointed with all of the playable translations. I hope to fix that with this project. I will actually be playing through at least one version of the game while I write this so as to incorporate the context of sprite actions and positions. KWhazit's translation has provided helpful reference material for part of the game.

Final Fantasy VI - The Full Commentary

This project, if not later merged with the Lina Darkstar Retranslation project, will be my line for line commentary on the whole game from beginning to end, as well as character and game analysis, Genjuu lists, and the like. Basically it'll be my catch-all for what I want to say, and may turn into a super-guide of sorts if I decide to put the time into it.

Final Fantasy VI - The Novella

This is another project that I'm happy to announce I plan to work on.  It will be worked on in bits and pieces as I go through the above projects and solidify my interpretations. This project will not simply be my script with the addition of descriptions of what is happening in the game, but a complete interpretative work with new material on the character's pasts, inner thoughts between game moments, and the like.
